Description

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) will host an industry conference day at its Columbus Conference Center on November 8, 2000, from 9 A.M. to Noon and 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. The conference will open communication between the government and industry on the DFAS garnishment function by providing (1) an overview of the functional requirements; (2) a complete systems demonstration; (3) an opportunity for industry to interact and provide requirements input; and (4) an opportunity for an informal market survey. Information gathered will be used in making potential outsourcing decisions for this function. Information about the DFAS Garnishment function can found at http://www.dfas.mil.
