Description

In accordance with FAR 9.2 and Public Law 98.525 this synopsis constitutes notice that the Air Force has established Qualification Requirements (QR's) for the manufacture of the following item: Noun: Synchronizing Ring; NSN 2840-01-454-8470PT; PN: 4082995-01; Application: F- 15/F-16 Aircraft. These qualification requirements apply to F100-PW-220 and F100-PW-229 augmentor nozzle synchronizing ring assembly hardware identified in the QRs Appendix A. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation document exists. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Drawings and associated technical data may be purchased from the Government for the item(s) for which you desire to become an approved source. Write to OC-ALC/TILDOS, 3001 Staff Dr, Ste 1AA81A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3041, FAX (405) 736-3814 (Attn: Ina Bookout). In the QRs, the engineering approval reference has changed from SA-ALC/LPFE to OC-ALC/LPFR and the contracting reference has changed from SA-ALC/LPKAF to OC-ALC/LPDBA.
