Description

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. The combined Synopsis/Solicitation Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAE07-01-T-0002. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 dated 17 Mar 97. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial; FAR 52.2 12-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (technical capability/approach, price and past performance); FAR 52.2 12-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial items (Offerors must include a complete copy with offer); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. This acquisition is rated DOA4 . Offers are due no later that 12: 00 noon, 17 OCTOBER 2000. Quotations must be submitted electronically either by e-mail to meykad@tacom.armv.mil or DATAFAX.
