Description
SOLICITATION #: F04700-01-T-0004 Edwards Air Force Base CA has a requirement for emergency standby paramedic service to Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/PR-West) when _on-duty_ paramedic support is OFF SITE. The contractor shall provide all management tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, labor and supervision necessary to perform ambulance services at the Air Force Research laboratory (AFRL/PR-West) at Edwards AFB, CA in accordance with all local, county, State of California and Federal Laws. The contractor is required to provide an ambulance service personnel to perform, but not limited to, the following task: Provide standby ambulance services with two State of California and Kern County qualified medical technicians [one Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic (EMT-P) and one EMT-Basic (EMT-B)]. Services shall be rendered on as needed basis. The contractor must possess a valid State of California Business License and Central Contractor Registered (CCR) upon submission of proposal. Contractor shall ensure that all employees performing ambulance services shall possess a current valid EMT certificate and Paramedic license as set forth in Title 22 of the Business and Professions Code of the State if California. This certification will be required prior to contract award. Period of performance is from contract award date through 30 Sep 2001, with four (4) one-year option periods. The acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS is 621910. The small business size standard is $5M. The anticipated date of issuance of the solicitation is 13 Nov 2000. The anticipated proposal due date is 30 Nov 2000 with an expected award date of 1 Dec 2000.
