Description

This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought Synopsis to identify potential small/small disadvantaged (SB/SDB) sources who are interested in responding to a future solicitation for conducting analytical chemistry of trace metals, trace organics and other environmentally relevant constituents in marine and estuarine sample matrices (water, sediment and tissue). The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD) is seeking responses to a market survey questionnaire located at the Future Opportunities Section of the SPAWAR Business Opportunities Page at http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil. Interested SB/SDB businesses are invited to respond to the questionnaire no later than November 20, 2000. Instructions for submitting responses are also provided with the questionnaire. The Government will not recognize any costs associated with submission of information by interested parties. This is not a request for proposals and a solicitation is not available at this time. Contingent upon the results of the questionnaire, SSC SD intends to issue a competitive RFP on a firm fixed price and time and materials basis. A regular synopsis notice will be issued at a later date to announce the projected issuance date of the RFP.
