Description

The Environmental Protection Agency intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Kaiser Optical Systems, Inc., 371 Parkland Plaza, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, for the purchase of a HoloLab Series 500: Raman Microscope Interface for Olympus BX-60 Compatible Model, P/N HL5-MVA-785-BX and a Optical Microscope Frame, P/N HL5-BX. EPA believes that the Kaiser Optical Systems, Inc., is the vendor capable of satisfying the requirement stated above. Any firm which feels it is capable of satisfying the requirements stated above should fully explain their capabilities in writing within 15 days of the date of this announcement. No Solicitation is available. All interested parties who believe they can provide the required supplies should fully explain their capabilities in writing within 15 days of the date of this announcement. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any sources (s) exist and, therefore, no RFP is available. Consequently, any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data but instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFP will be ignored.
