Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. Solicitation 01SQ307240 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3825; the NAICS is 335314. The small business size standard is 750 employees. Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply. This acquisition is set-aside100% for small business concerns. DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: Eleven (11) Each of Schweitzer Type SEL-387-5 Relay. No substitutions will be accepted. The current differential and overcurrent relay shall be Schweitzer Type SEL-387-5, including sequence events recorder and additional 12 standard outputs and inputs. The power supply is 125 volts DC. The secondary input current is 5 amperes. The relay shall be horizontal panel mounting type. The control input voltage shall be 125 volts DC. The part number for the relay is 0387514X532X4XX. Relays are to be delivered by December 6, 2000, to the Hoover Dam Warehouse, Highway 93, Boulder City, NV 89005. Deliveries will be accepted between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52:212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial (Jun 97). Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jan 97); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (May 97) with the following clause incorporated by addendum: FAR 52.247-34 F.O.B. Destination; and FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items with the following applicable FAR clauses for paragraph (b): 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; and 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era. The Contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no cost to the Government. The resulting purchase order will be a firm fixed-price purchase order. All responsible offerors shall submit quotes by fax to: (702) 293-8050 or by mail to: Bureau of Reclamation, P.O.
