Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration is holding a pre-solicitation conference regarding the development of a rapid, reproducible, and improved method of digitally recording ridge detail from the palmar side of the hand, utilizing ultrasound (formerly advertised as DEA-00-R-0016). The anticipated result is a "live-scan" ultrasound direct digital output that will record all the friction ridge detail present on the extreme sides of the palms and the extreme tips, sides, and lower joints of the fingers.
