Description

MARKET RESEARCH 1. OO-ALC/YPVP has a requirement for a market research to be conducted to accomplish the following work over a 24 month period: a. Demodify the temporary (T1) Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) modification currently installed on USAFE F-16 C and D Block 40 aircraft located in USAFE (approx 42 acft). b. Installation of the Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) modification on Block 40 F-16 C and D aircraft located in USAFE (approx 42 acft). c. Installation of Improved Data Modem (IDM) on Block 40 F-16 C and D aircraft located in USAFE (approx 42 acft). 2. The modification and demodification work has to be accomplished in USAFE by an European Participating Governments (EPG) approved contractor in Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway, or Portugal. 3. The contractor is required to have skilled employees/technicians in the avionics and structures fields. The contractor is required to have an approved aircraft facility to accommodate a minimum of three F-16 aircraft in work at one time. 4. Aircraft will be ferried to and from the contractor facility by the USAF. 5. Reply is requested no later than 14 Nov 00. 6.
