Description

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Louisville Detachment is the In-Service Engineering Activity for major and medium naval guns and is issuing this sources sought synopsis for engineering/manufacturing/program and operational support services. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine the availability and capability of small businesses in order to make a determination if this effort should be a small business set-aside. Services are to be provided for these specific task areas: Production Engineering; Maintenance Support Functions; Logistics Engineering; Reliability, Maintainability Availability and Quality Assurance Engineer; Systems Integration and Interoperability; Design Functions; Test and Evaluation Functions; Acquisition functions; FMS Support; Program Support; Manufacturing Support; Operation Support Functions; and Security. All small businesses that feel they have capability to perform these services are invited to submit appropriated documentation, references, technical capability statement and other appropriate documentation to support their experience and capabilities to meet or exceed the stated requirements. The proposed NAICS is 541330. Responses must contain the following information: (1) name and address, to include fax number, email address and POC; (2) size status in relation to the applicable NAICS; (3) technical capabilities (to include principle services and/or core technology/expertise); (4) evidence to show that the company presently has the resources and security clearance to perform the required services; (5) present and past experience (to include references for services performed that are similar to those described above). This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation for proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought announcement or otherwise pay for information requested. Respondents will not be notified f the results of this sources sought synopsis. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately.
