- Synopsis: This is a limited competitive acquisition to Litton Systems Inc, Electron Devices Division and Communications & Power Industries, Microwave Power Tube Division, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is for the repair of 30 each TWT/BEL Assembly units. NSN 5960-01-319-3932AY, part numbers 2901564-1, VTR-5639 and ICB165318-001. 22 of the 30 units to be repaired has already been evaluated by CRANE (Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Indiana, and has been determined to require Major Repair/Total Rebuild. To be eligible for this repair effort, you must be able to repair all part numbers listed above. The required delivery schedule is 30 days after receipt of order or reparable, whichever is later. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 15 days after the publication of this notice and will be posted at our website: http://pkec.robins.af.mil . The response date will be 30 days following posting of this solicitation in the CBD. The Government does not have data rights, or manufacturing knowledge to permit acquisition from other sources. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
