SYNOPSIS: PRON: AX051103AX, Noun: Gear, Spur, NSN: 3020-01-164-3930; P/N: 7-211310051, Quantity : 69 each. Applicable to the AH-64 Airframe. FOB Destination to Texarkana, TX. With First Article delivery is 69 each 183 days after contract award. First Article Test Report is 98 DACA. Without First Article delivery is 69 each 110 days after contract award. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. This proposed action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Approved sources are Boeing Precision Gear Inc., Chicago, IL, The Purdy Corp., Manchester, CT, and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., Mesa, AZ. The time required for approval of a new supplier is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
