Description

This is an amendment to Submission No. 5049Q1 posted in the CBDNet on 23 Oct 00. The combined synopsis/solicitation is amended to add the following: If multiple awards are made, oral quotes will be requested from any successful offeror(s) prior to execution of any subsequent delivery orders. Each awardee shall provide a quote for subsequent requirements. Delivery orders will be placed with the successful awardee(s). The Government will consider price, past performance, ability to meet the required delivery schedule, and production capability when awarding subsequent delivery orders. In addition, the following clauses are deleted: FAR 52.246-2, Inspection of Supplies -- Fixed Price (Aug 96); 52.246-16, Responsibility for Supplies (Apr 84); and 52.246-4528, Rework and Repair of Nonconforming Material (May 94).
