Description

The U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA)Office of Enterprise Develoment in collaboration with the Federal Supply Services is sposoring a 'Ten City Tour 2000" particulary for women-owned businesses intrested in becoming FSS Schedules Contract holders. The Federal Supply Schedules Program is a $10.5 billion program and currently has more than 7,000 schedule contract holders. Our tour objective is to increase the participation of women business owners and specifically use this outreach event as a means of meeting and exceeding the Administration's 5-percent goal establsihed for women entrepreneurs. Small, minority, 8(a), HUBZone, and veteran-owned businesses will find these tour briefings instructive also and they are welcome. A tour will be held on November 8, 2000, in Phoeniz, AZ, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, 122 N. Second Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004. There will also be a tour held on November 15, 2000 in San Antonio, TX at the San Antonino Marriott River Center, 101 Bowie Street, San Antonio, TX 78205. These half-day workshops will begin with registration from 8:00am to 8:8:30am. GSA experts wil1 provide detailed information to attendees on how to prepare a quality Schedules offer.
