Description

The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), has a requirement for presorting and forwarding mail services whereby the Contractor shall provide all personnel, vehicles, equipment and mail sorting facilities, and transportation services (except as provided by the U. S. Postal Service, USPS) required to prepare International Priority Airmail (IPA), International Surface Airlift (ISAL) and Valuepost Canada presort mailing services. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price indefinite quantity contract to meet this need. The term of the contract shall be for one year from date of contract award with options to extend for four additional one-year periods. It is anticipated the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about November 15, 2000. Firms interested in receiving a copy of Solicitation No. BBGCON3501S5175-BJS must respond in writing to the Contracting Officer at the above address or via facsimile at 202-260-0855. All requests for copies of the solicitation must include the solicitation number, company name, mailing address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and name of contact person. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be honored. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the Agency. This notice is not a RFP. See Numbered Note 1.
