Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, has a requirement for Membership in PODS IN SERVICE (JIP) a Joint Industry Project to instrument electric podded azimuthing drive propulsion systems, full-scale, 12 Month Period. This is a combined synopsis/quotation for a sole source commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. No formal quotation will be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order will be issued to: Maritime Research Institute Netherlands unless additional sources are located. All responsible and responsive sources are invited to submit quotations, via fax in writing to Mrs. Dreszer, no later than November 8, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. All interested sources must include the representations and certifications contained in FAR clause 52.212-3, with their quotation. This clause may be accessed electronically at www.arnet.gov. Quotations received after the established closing date shall not be considered. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), short-term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
