Description

Background "This is a SOURCE SEEKING SYNOPSIS for the Air Force Program of Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS). The object of the CETS is to elevate the technical skills and abilities of the personnel responsible for the operation and maintenance of Air Force weapon systems (listed below) to a level of self-sufficiency. Note: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Numerous RFP's will be issued throughout the fiscal year requesting support for the below listed equipment. This synopsis is seeking companies with CETS capable personnel. The CET personnel's primary purposes will be to: provide on-site/on-equipment informal training, provide advice in the identification of and instruction on the use of special tools, handling equipment,aerospace ground equipment (AGE) and test equipment, devise local informal training programs, and render technical advice and provide analysis of maintenance difficulties. CETS personnel must have instructor training ability, possess the ability to work independently without technical guidance, and be experienced in theory, maintenance and repair of all equipment listed below (or selected items). Firms having the engineering and technical field service capabilities listed above are invited to submit complete information to the office listed. Note 25 APPLIES. In addition to Note 25 requirements, information should include: written proof of laison relationship with manufacturer including access to the technical data base for the listed equipment.
