Description

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) intends to issue an order to Information Handling Services for all necessary labor, equipment and materials required to develop, implement and maintain the needs of Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) price analysts. IHS is the sole provider of Haystack, a software subscription with loadable software. It provides unique features such as cross-referencing of part numbers to manufacturers to national stock numbers to federal supply schedules. The pricing data bases include pricing information from the U.S. Government civilian agencies as well as Department of Defense. It also provides an Enterprise license agreement. Additionally, the company includes on-site training in addition to its computer based training. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No award will be made on the basis of any response to this advertisement. All interested parties may respond in writing with information on their product and services with sufficient technical and cost information to allow for a detailed evaluation to the Contract Specialist, Christine C.
