Description

Background "This is a not a solicitation, and is for market investigation only. This is not a request for proposal (RFP) and there will be no source selection resulting from this effort. There will be no briefing of the data collected or the Government's findings to industry. The Government will not fund the efforts to accomplish this, this work should not be charged to any ongoing Government contract and the Government bears no responsibility for any impacts to any ongoing contracts or efforts. This is a request for information (RFI) on sources for Communications Intelligence (COMINT) subsystems. The requested information consists of the following items pertaining to COMINT system applications that either exist or are in development: functional capabilities technical parameters either projected or demonstrated during testing space, weight, power, environmental and cooling requirements JASA compliance and architectural features commonality and interoperability with other platforms and systems modularity and scaleability schedule (e.g., delivery dates for hardware/software) Responses should identify what capabilities already exist as off-the-shelf, those that are in development (include who is funding the effort) and those that would require new funding sources. If capabilities cited were developed for another application the details of that application should also be provided. Responses are due within 30 days after publication of this notice and other than providing the above noted information, the format, content and structure of the responses is up to industry.
