Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Druck Incorporated, New Fairfield, CT 06812-4022. The Air Data Test Set P/N ADTS405-8325 is used in Intermediate Level support of the V-22 aircraft. The Air Data Test Set generates precise pilot and static pressures for testing aircraft pneumatic instruments and air data systems. The test set can be used to conduct dynamic tests, quantitative tests and pneumatic leak test. The set also generates altitude and airspeed outputs, and pressure rates. The set is man-portable and has self-contained pressure and vacuum sources. The proposed acquisition is for an item for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings. The technical data and drawings for the Air Data Test Set are proprietary to Druck Incorporated. Delivery for P/N ADTS405-8325 quantity of six (6) is required by 02 April 2001. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. SEE NUMBERED Note 22
