Description

SOURCES ARE SOUGHT by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office located in Dallas, Texas for qualified SMALL BUSINESSES to construct a new powerhouse (estimate 12,000 square feet), provide general construction, hazardous material abatement, site clearing and earthwork within the confines of the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) La Tuna located in Anthony, Texas. The place of performance is FCI La Tuna, Texas Highway 20, Two Miles South of Anthony, Texas, 79821. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all labor, equipment and materials to complete the work. The scope has identified the following percentages of work by classifications approximately 36% mechanical, 23% general construction, 21% electrical, and 20% administrative. The period of performance is expected to be approximately 364 calendar days in duration. The estimate magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 233320 with a current size standard $27.5 million in average annual receipts.
