- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision to replace old wiring and equipment with new, install new service from Bldg. #6 to Bldg. #30 via existing manholes and new RGS conduit, disconnect and remove primary feeder and switch, provide and install exit lighting and various electrical renovations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)is 235310. The size standard is $7.0. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price construction type contract. The procurement will be obtained utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This solicitation is unrestricted -- open to large and small business concerns. The period of performance shall be 135 days after contract award. The estimated Cost Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation (specifications/drawings) will be limited to the electronic medium. Specifications/drawings WILL NOT be provided in a paper hard copy format or CD-ROM. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge; however, some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective quoters are required to register on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command ESOL website for this procurement when specifications become available. Official planholder lists will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. The solicitation will be available on or about 9 November 2000. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the internet. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. All contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing the website at http://www.ccr2000.com or by referring to DFARS Subpart 204.703. NOTE: Offerors should submit verification of their firm's registration in the CCR database with their offer.
