Description

The U.S. Department of the Interior, intends to renegotiate with and make award on a sole source basis to Elizabeth Tomokane for the Office of Insular Affairs, Labor Ombudsman Office located in Saipan. The contractor shall perform translation and interpretation services, labor, immigration and other outreach program services, administrative support services, team leader for caseworkers, database management services regarding foreign contract workers concerns, assist in coordinating activities on labor, immigration and law enforcement initiatives, etc. The period of performance shall be from October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001, with possible renewal. Ms. Tomokane is the only known responsible source (in accordance with FAR 6.302-1) able to provide the required service. No solicitation exists. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. A request for solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response, however, if issuance of a solicitation is determined appropriate, requesting firms will be included on the mailing list. To be considered, all responsible parties must submit faxed data to the Contracting Officer sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement.
