Description

The contractor shall maintain, inspect, and service kitchen fire suppression systems (wet and dry chemicals), kitchen exhaust systems, kitchen exhaust hood washdown systems, carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems F.M. 200 fire extinguishing systems and halon fire extinguishing systems. Contractor supplied parts shall consist of all parts and supplies that would normally be expected to be consumed or wear out on a regular basis or are specifically listed elsewhere in this contract for periodic replacement. These items include, but are not limited to: grease, oil or other lubricants used to perform scheduled maintenance on fans and other equipment; fan belts; gaskets; fusible links; and hood washdown system detergent. The costs of such parts shall be included in the appropriate fixed bid items. Additional parts such as baffles, screens, diffuser heads and similar items not routinely replaced as a maintenance activity will be reimbursable as a requirements item. Contract period consists of Base Period (1 Feb 01 or date of award through 31 Jan 02 and three one-year option periods. The proposed procurement listed here is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The size standard is any concern including its affiliates with an average annual sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $5 million. SIC Code: 8999.
