- Description
- SF 254 and SF 255 Applications are invited from Engineering firms to provide professional services for design services and construction period services for remodeling and expansion of the Building 81 Pharmacy at the American Lake Division of the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Physical project scope will be to remodel approximately 6,000 square feet of existing space and the addition of approximately 1,150 square feet of new building space. The renovated space and new space will be designed to function as a integrated pharmacy with inpatient and outpatient functions. Design disciplines will include seismic/structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural interiors. The A/E contractor must provide bid-ready design documents 180 calendar days after A/E contract award. Evaluation and selection will be based on qualifications stated under CBD Numbered Note 24. The selected firm or organization must have significant experience in the design of existing medical facility renovation and pharmacy areas in particular. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the credentials of the firm and assigned staff to support the study scope. Special qualifications and selection of firms will place emphasis on design capabilities of firms with previous experience renovating existing hospital facilities. The cost range for construction is $1 Million -- $2 Million. The applicable SIC code is 8711. This is not a Request for Proposal. Point of Contact is William W. Thompson (253) 589 4027.
