Description

The Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (CDNSWC) shall conduct a Commercial Activities study pursuant to OMB Circular A-76 for Base Operations Support that includes the CDNSWC Headquarters site located in West Bethesda, MD and the Naval Ship Systems Engineering Station (NAVSSES) located in Philadelphia, PA. Support may also be required at any of the nine CDNSWC detachments as required. These detachments are located in Ketchikan, AK, Bremerton, WA, Bayview, ID, Memphis, TN, Suffolk, VA, Patuxent River, MD, Panama City, FL, Cape Canaveral, FL and Fort Lauderdale, FL. One successful "Service Provider" shall be selected to maintain/provide support services at all sites. The functional areas under study include the following: * Division Public Affairs (CDNSWC Headquarters & NAVSSES) * Administrative Services and Operations (NAVSSES) * Human Resources Workforce Information (CDNSWC Headquarters & NAVSSES) * Environmental Office -- Hazardous and Residual Waste Handling and Recycling Program (NAVSSES) * Security Office -- Security Assistants (CDNSWC Headquarters & NAVSESS) * Supply -- Customer Service (CDNSWC Headquarters) * Public Works -- Facilities Maintenance (CDNSWC Headquarters) One step of this study is to determine potential commercial interest in providing the services identified above; therefore, it is requested that all interested parties submit a letter of interest, preferably via email (smithdm1@nswccd.navy.mil)(Subject Line: A-76 Study) or by written letter, addressed to: Carderock Div., Naval Surface Warfare Center Code 3324:Douglas Smith 9500 MacArthur Blvd. West Bethesda, MD 20817-5700 FAX No. 301-227-3638 This notice is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
