Description

Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA intends to establish a firm fixed price requirements contract that will provide for all consumable supplies, test reagents, quality control material, laboratory equipment, equipment maintenance, technical assistance, and training necessary to perform a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests for one year. All diagnostic test materials and equipment provided by the contractor shall be FDA approved. The test methodology shall be BEAD EIA testing technology. The testing system shall be capable of testing and reporting a minimum of 120 specimens of the 5 viral marker tests in a single 8 hour shift by no more than 2 contractor trained Madigan Army Medical Center technicians. All equipment is required for location within the Armed Services Blood Bank Center, Room 1-28-09 at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington. Embedded computer equipment or microprocessors shall have provisions to prevent loss of program data or damage to the system in the event of power fluctuations or power loss. All testing reagents, test kits, expendable items, and equipment for all test procedures listed, shall be supplied by the contractor. The contractor need not be the manufacturer of each test kit or equipment component, however, the contractor shall assume full responsibility for the system including a single source for customer service and support for all aspects of the testing system. -- The quotation number is DADA13-01-T-0009. The NAICS code is 325413. The Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) related to procurement of Commercial Items require the use of Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This quotation is being issued in accordance with the simplified procedures at FAR Subpart 13.5.
