Description
Solicitation DACW67-00-R-0038 is changed to DACW67-01-R-0001. Those firms who have registered to receive copies of DACW67-00-R-0038 will automatically be registered to receive this solicitation. The project description is changed to read: This work consists of removal of existing air-blast breaker assemblies, modifications of the cabinets, installation of the new SF6 breaker assemblies, modification of external power, control and annunciation connections, field testing and commissioning of the retrofitted circuit breakers. The work includes the design of external connections, removal of existing equipment, conduit, and wiring, furnishing and installing of conduit, power and control wiring, interconnecting wiring for power, control, and alarm circuits, relaying, and miscellaneous electrical accessories. The contractor is responsible for all technical oversight and supervision. The NIACS code for this project is 335313. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued on or about November 13, 2000 and open on or about January 31, 2001. Proposed procurement will result in a one year, fixed priced indefinite delivery contract with the option to extend for four additional years, with delivery orders issued as requirements arise. Contract will be for Not To Exceed $10,000,000 per year with a total contract value of Not To Exceed $50,000,000. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. Disks will be issued at no charge per set, issued on a first come, first served basis. No phone requests accepted. Firms desiring a copy of the IFB must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ Plans and specs may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $500,000 you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan.
