Description

Requirement is for continuance of total contractor logistics support for the FOX M93 NBCRS under a long term contract beginning in 2002. The quantity is 123 M93 FOX systems. The FOX system is a German non-developmental item (NDI) system wherein German contractors own proprietary rights to the majority of parts used in the system. The current acquisition strategy is to procure the services on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS with General Dynamics Land Systems. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition procurement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
