Y PROJECT NO T714097, NEW 50 UNIT NAVY LODGE FACILITY AT NAS WHIDBEY ISLAND WA, SOLICITATION NO F41689-01-R0005, POC ALICE ALLEN. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is soliciting proposals for prime contractors for the construction of a new lodge facility at NAS Whidbey Island, WA. The facility is designed as a 50 unit, two story wood framed structure. The total building square footage is about 31,293. The exterior of the building is finished with an Exterior Insulation Finish System (EIFS). Facility will include a lobby, front desk area, office space, housekeeping area, central laundromat, and utility space. Each of the 50 units will include a kitchenette, private restroom/bathroom, living area and a separate sleeping area. Supporting facilities includes site preparation, site improvements, concrete walks, landscaping, mechanical and electrical distribution systems, area lighting and 80 parking spaces for both employee and patrons. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid guarantee is required. Bid packages should be available on or about 29 Oct 2000. This solicitation will use the Non-Appropriated funds (NAF)guidelines. Request for solicitation package must include a 9 digit zip code.
