Description

Contractor to Furnish all labor tools, materials, and equipment necessary to harvest locally Slash, and Loblolly and Longleaf Pine trees through selective thinning and standard clear cutting practices. Slash Pine Pulpwood, Loblolly, and Longleaf Pine are estimated at 1000 cords. Longleaf Pine, Loblolly and Slash Pine Sawtimber is an estimated 112,000 board feet. Timber is considered average for the Sumter Area. The area to be harvested is at Poinsett Electronic Combat Range, Wedgefield, SC located in Sumter County, SC. The issue date will be on or about 31 Oct 2000. Offeror closing date will be 14 Nov 2000. An organized site visit is set for 2 Nov 2000 @ 0900.
