Description

The U. S. Government Printing Office intends on making a sole source award to Grand Eagle Services for Furnishing and installing a replacement core coil assembly for an existing ABB transformer. Contractor shall (1) engineer and manufacture a duplicate unit, with heaters, (2) Disconnect and rig out the existing failed unit, storing the case for reuse (3) Deliver and rig into place the new core coil assembly on a Saturday (4) Megger and TTR test the new transformer and provide test results to GPO (5) Check phasing and reconnect power leads (6) Connect 120/240 volt power for heater circuit, as provided by GPO at the transformer case (7) Reassemble the case and clean area (8) Remove the failed unit for evaluation and possible factory repair. If repairable, this will be done at additional cost , to be determined. (8) Demobilize from site.
