Description

The subject requirement is for maintenance and repair of government-owned fitness equipment for NAS Oceana, Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, LANTFLT HEDSUFFACT, and FCTC Dam Neck Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Athletic Department locations. The offeror shall be trained and authorized to service equipment by the following manufacturers: Nautilus, Stair Master, Life Fitness, Nordic Track, Universal Gym, Iron Grip, BodyMaster, Heart Rate Inc., Concept II Rowers, Hoggan Health, Precor, Flex, Hammer Strength, and Versa Climber. The offeror shall provide proof of prior warranty work certification for authorized service of military fitness equipment with its offer. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside under Standard Industrial Code 7699 or North American Industrial Code 811490. Solicitation and evaluation for contract award will be accomplished through commercial item and simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with the Clinger Cohen Test Program FAR Part 13.5. Period of performance for this award is one year. A complete Request For Quote package will be available for download on or about 27 October 2000 by downloading the solicitation at FISC Norfolk Website: http://www.nor.fisc.navy.mil/contracts or at http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the contractor shall be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. The offeror shall be actively registered on Central Contracting Registration prior to receiving contract award. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. Note number 1 applies.
