Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price follow-on contract to Management Software Incorporated (MSI) for hardware and software maintenance service for the Controlled Distribution System (CDS) (commerical name: Total Asset Visibility). MSI developed the CDS as a proprietary system. Other sources capable of satisfying this requirement are invitied to submit clear and convincing data substantiating their capability to satisfy this requirement. All repsonses should reference PR 423/0001Z/01-01. Interested parties have 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit their qualification/capabilites. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a full and open competition basis. Responses received without the requested information may be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. Oral communications are not acceptable. A determination by the Virginia Contracting Activity not to compete this proposed procurement on a full and open competiton basis, based upon responses to thsi synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Virginia Contracting Activity.
