Description

The FDA is planning to award a contract for a survey to provide estimates on the prevalence of retail stores providing quantitative nutrition labeling information for raw produce and raw fish. The contractor shall identify a nationally representative sample of approximately 2000 retail stores in the 48 contiguous states and shall conduct an observational check in each retail store. The sample has to take into account four factors, including sampling retail stores in all 48 states, while accounting for sales volume, store type (chain vs. independent), and county size. The solicitation will only be available at www.fedbizopps.gov under DHHS on or about November 8, 2000. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and amendments. These documents will be in portable document formation (PDF) and can be read and printed with the Adobe Acrobat Reader software. It is the offeror_s responsibility to monitor the web site for the release of the solicitation and amendments. Hard copies will provided to individuals eligible under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act upon request.
