- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Behavioral Surveillance Branch (BSB) has a requirement for a contractor to provide timely, high-quality telephone sample records to be used by health departments in the United States, District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The database of working telephone numbers will be used to conduct the Behavior Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Survey in addition to health related surveys. The database shall contain sampling frame information needed to properly weight sample data and shall allow BRFSS states with an enhanced capability to conduct monthly digit-dialed telephone surveys. The sample of database numbers shall be suitable for conducting project-based random digit-dialed (RDD) telephone surveys using list-assisted disproportionate stratisfied sampling (DSS) design in accordance with the statement of work. The period of performance for the proposed contract shall be a one (1) year contract with four (4) one year option periods. The Government anticipates making a single award in response to the Request for Proposal (RFP). The date specified for receipt of proposals will be approximately 30 days after the RFP issue date which is projected on or about November 9, 2000. Offerors may obtain a copy of the RFP via the internet at www2.eps.gov; however, if a hard copy is desired, written requests may be mailed to the above address or submitted via facsimile to (412) 386-6429.
