Approved Source: Essex Industries Inc., Cage Code 83533 and part number 38054-3. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp on its issue date of 11/13/00. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed three years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation is for an NSN indefinite quantity type contract. This solicitation will result in an award of an indefinite quantity contract, against which delivery orders may be placed for one year. The option will be for additional one year period not to exceed two years for the option.
