The function is to support and stablize the turbine frame. Dimensions: 43 inches diameter by 3.2 inches wide. Material AMS 5643 4EA. Applicable to: F118. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3028. Delivery: 03 SEP 2001 4 ea The approximate issue/response date will be 13 NOV 2000. The anticipated award date will be 13 FEB 2001. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: General Electric Co Aircraft Engine, Cincinnati Oh 45215-1988. First article test required. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
