Description
Project consists of construction of a new two-story Squadron Operations/Aircraft Maintenance Unit Facility adjacent to the infield area at McChord AFB. Construction includes concrete foundation, masonry walls, structural steel frame, sloping SSM roof system, fire protection system, air conditioning, utilities, elevator, and site improvements. The project combines maintenance and operations personnel for a C-17 aircraft squadron into one facility of approximately 3300 square meters. All work tasks shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. AVAILABILITY: This Solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-ROM format only. EBS CD-ROM disks with plans and specs available on or about 9 Jan 2001 at no charge per set, with bids due approximately 30 calendar days later. EBS CD-ROM disks will be issued on a first come, first serve basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Firms desiring consideration must register via the Internet at the following address; http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct. EBS CD-ROMs may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Submit requests by 3 January 2001. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 and completion period is 365 days. The Standard Industrial Classification System Code (SIC) has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS). The NAICS Code for this procurement is 233320, which is matched to SIC Code 1542. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your bid will exceed $1,000,000, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its average annual receipts are $27.5 million or less.
