Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington, D.C. (FISCNORDETWASH) has a requirement in support of Commander Naval Recruiting Command (CNRC) for computerized and edited, audio/video, display system services. The system is required for road show/exhibit services at nationwide Navy promotional events. The scope of the work includes computerized design, fabrication/construction, transport, set-up/break-down, and security services. There are an estimated 90 recruiting events per year, including the following venues: 30 Navy Blue Angels air shows; 20 Air Force Thunderbirds air shows and civilian air shows; 10 diversity related conventions/fairs; and 40 Fleet Weeks, Professional and Collegiate sporting events, major conventions and Promotional Port Calls by Navy Warships. THIS REQUIREMENT IS A 100% SMALL BUSUNESS SET-ASIDE (size standard is $5 Million). The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) is T006, "Film/Video Tape Production Services." The NAICS Code is 54143, "Graphic Design Services." The contract period of performance will be for a base year and two one-year options, plus an option to extend services for an additional six months. The resultant contract will include the clauses at FAR 52.217-8 and 52.217-9. The forthcoming solicitation will be available within approximately three weeks at the Navy's acquisition website, www.neco.navy.mil., under RFP #N00600-01-R-5031. The due date for submitting proposals will be stated in the solicitation. This office anticipates awarding a commercial item, Firm Fixed Price service contract. Proof of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required for eligibility for award. Oral presentations may be required as part of the offeror's proposal. Information regarding oral presentations and evaluation criteria will be provided in the solicitation. If oral presentations are required, they will be scheduled with offerors after the close of the solicitation. The Government intends to award on initial proposals.
