This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Research Systems, Inc. for ENVI+IDL Unix Floating Network Licenses under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 31.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is October 23, 2000. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
