Description

The Department of the Army has a requirememt for a preventive and priority (On-call) maintenance services for material handling and battery charging equipment in use at the Fort Buchanan Commisary, Buildings 618, 605, and 604, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. Equipment consists of forklifts and pallet jacks which are either manual or electric mostly manufactured by Yale as well as battery chargers manufactured by Yale, Hobart, or Exide. Equipment is completely listed in the solicitation document with model and serial numbers included. Contractor will provide scheduled quarterly preventive maintenance service and on-call priority repair service in accordance with the scope of services included in the solicitation. Period of Performance is a base year (20 November 2000 -- 19 November 2001) and one option year (20 November 2001 -- 19 November 2002) . A written solicitaion is estimated to be issued on 27 October 2000. The anticipated award date is 16 November 2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
