Description

Project is located on the Malheur National Forest and work consists of hoe tree planting on three Ranger Districts: Blue Mountain, 447 acres; Emigrant Creek, 650 acres; and Prairie City, 549 acres. Work is anticipated to start as soon as weather and site conditions permit in the spring of 2001. The planting prospectus is available now and the Request for Proposal will be available in mid January with the proposal due date established at that time. Contractors are encouraged to view the sites prior to the onset of winter. No formal pre-bid tours will be scheduled. A request for this prospectus will also enter you on the mailing list for the request for proposal.
