Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a Cost Reimbursement Contract for F414-GE-400 engine assessments, analyses, and studies required for the production introduction of the AESA RADAR system. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), located at 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01910-0445. No hardware will be required, although the contractor will provide supplies necessary to perform the requirement. GEAE is the original Manufacturer, and only known source possessing the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data required to provide the AESA RADAR F414-GE-400 Engine Integration engineering studies.
