Description

The applicable NSNs for this procurement are 8410-01-412-9697(s). The military specification is MIL-C-29453B dated 10/3/94 with pattern dated 11/9/94. The purchase quantity is 7,092 with no additional options. The destination is New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The delivery period is scheduled to begin 120 days after date of award with 8 deliveries. This solicitation will be issued as a Total Set Aside for Small Business Firms. All materials used in the fabrication of the end item are to be furnished by the contractor with the exception of the basic fabric(Cloth, P/W Gabardine 2312)and the Broadcloth, Scarlet MC SH 2501, which will be provided as GFM. Source selection procedures will be utilized. The following factors will be utilized in descending order of importance: PDM, Experience/Past Performance, Manufacturing Plan, and DLA Mentoring Business Agreements Program. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
