Description

The Financial Management Service (FMS) has a requirement for Alpha/Numeric ribbons quantity 13,330; and MICR ribbons quantity 4,516. The ribbon specifications will be included in the solicitation package. The ribbons will be used on a Troy CF0480 Checkprinting system. Delivery shall be FOB Destination in multiple quantities at the following locations throughout the US: Austin, TX, Birmingham, AL, IL, Kansas City, KS, Philadelphia, PA, and San Fransisco, CA. A firm-fixed price contract for a base and one year option period is anticipated. A commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5 will be acquired using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is an unrestricted procurement. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3555 with a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. Date of delivery shall be April 1, 2001. The anticipated date of RFQ issuance is November 6, 2000 with a closing date of November 20, 2000. All ribbons will undergo testing as part of the evaluation process.
