Description

Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to negotiate with responsible firm(s) for the establishment of a definitive contract for R-134A, 43 pounds per cylinder. Cylinders and valves will be supplied by the Government as Government Furnished Material. Basic quantity is 1,500 cylinders to be filled and returned to Defense Depot Richmond Va. One hundred (100%) option applies to this procurement. Delivery of Government-owned cylinders (NSN 8120-01-370-8189) to successful contractor within 30 days after award of contract. Requested delivery of 1,500 filled cylinders is 30 days after receipt of Government owned cylinders. See numbered Note 1, 100% small business set-aside applies to this procurement. Successful offeror will be required to inspect, maintain and/or recondition the Government furnished cylinders IAW product specs and MIL-STD-1411; Cylinders shall be color coded and stencilled IAW MIL-STD-101B for refrigerant gases. Successful offeror shall also provide brass sealing valve outlet cap.
