Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. This procurement is for software maintenance services to include the latest version of software updates, updates to firmware deliveries, resolution of problem reports and the incorporation of software corrections into new software versions. This support covers all software programs and documentation used to operate the EM-121A Multibeam Sonar System, the EM-1001/1002 Shallow Water Echo Sounder Systems and the EM-3000 Hydrographic Sonar Systems. This procurement will be for a base year with four (4) one-year option periods. A firm fixed price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract (with delivery orders) will be awarded. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) Code is 7371. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511. The applicable size standard is $18.0 million. This procurement will be issued on a sole source basis to Kongsberg Simrad, Inc., 19210 33rd Avenue West, Lynnwood, WA 98036-4707.
