- Description
- General Services Administration (GSA), in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake California, has a requirement for five each Pulsed RF Amplifiers designed to support on-going electronic warfare test and evaluation efforts. Four of the amplifiers will be utilized in a pulsed mode and one will operate in a continuous wave mode. The minimum power level for the pulsed mode amplifiers is 3.5 kW peak operating at a six-percent duty cycle. Power level for the CW amplifier is 250W. Transmitted RF for the pulsed amplifiers includes four separate bands, each with unique bandwidths. Transmitted RF for the CW amplifier is 6.0 to 18.0 GHz. Detailed frequency requirements are contained in the solicitation specifications; the interface design specifications will be provided to the awardee within 30 days of contract award. An Acceptance Test Plan & Procedures for the performance requirements testing will be required no later than 60 days before testing; the Government will witness the performance acceptance testing. A Test Report regarding the results of the performance requirements testing is required no later than 30 days after amplifier testing completion. The desired delivery schedule for the amplifiers is within 180 days after date of contract award. Delivery will be made to China Lake CA. Inspection/Acceptance will be at the manufacturer's facility. FOB Origin pricing required. This acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures. In accordance with FAR 5.203(b), the RFQ offer due date may be less than 30 days from the date of RFQ issuance. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 27 Oct 00. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by GSA.
