- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a non-personal services contract for Business Administration Courses. Duties are to be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Morgantown, West Virginia. Duties include: provide an Advanced Occupational Education Program leading to a one-year certificate and/or an Associates Degree in Business Administration Management, or other related fields. Classes will be primarily during the evening hours (5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday), and be conducted within 3 semesters per year, with an estimated 10 classes per calender year. Class size is estimated to be approximately 20 students. Contractor must be listed in the directory entitled "Accredited Institutions of Post-Secondary Education" and/or be designated as eligible by the United States Department of Education to receive tuition assistance funds. The contractor must be accredited by the North-Central Association of Colleges and Schools or a comparable association. Due to the nature of this contract, all individuals working within the confines of the institution will be required to submit to security clearances. This will be a competitive procurement with award being made to the offeror determined to be in the best interest of the Government with price and other factors considered. The base year will run for twelve months from the date of award with four (4) twelve month option periods for renewal. Anticipated date of award is January 02, 2001. It is anticipated this solicitation will be mailed approximately November 06, 2001 with an anticipated due date of December 6, 2001. It is anticipated that this solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract. This is an unrestricted solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered for award.
